Meet Tony Casey from British Columbia. Tony is a Vice President of Pickleball Canada Organization (PCO) in charge of Operations & Administration. He joined PCO in 2018 and is currently working on ways to recognize and connect passionate, volunteer pickleball leaders. Tony was the lead for the development of PCO’s Strategic Plan 2021-2023 ~ Advancing Pickleball for All, for Life.
Tony brings to Pickleball Canada a background as a director on the prevention side of the health system, and many years as a volunteer leader in hockey, soccer and baseball. While Irish-born Tony has lived in Alberta and Ontario, he has spent most of his life on the west coast of BC.
He is a self-proclaimed consistently, inconsistent recreational player who is a bit competitive! His favourite pickleball moments are playing outdoors, in the sun, in January and February. The restrictions on international travel over the past while have helped Tony realize how enjoyable it is to visit places & spaces in BC.
