Ottawa, ON – September 13, 2023 – Pickleball Canada is thrilled to announce that Pickleball Nova Scotia has been selected to host the 2024 Myoflex® National Pickleball Championship. The marque annual pickleball tournament will be held from August 20 – 24 at the Sobeys Atlantic Tennis Centre in Bedford, Nova Scotia, on the outskirts of Halifax.

“Nova Scotia has experience in running several provincial and regional tournaments, including the 2023 Pickleball Canada Atlantic Regional Championship,” said Val Vollmin, President of Pickleball Canada. “With the experience they have in creating a great event, we are excited to see Nationals come to the Maritimes for the first time.”

With space for up to 41 pickleball courts (a combination of indoor and outdoor), the facility has painted acrylic court surfaces that should be popular among players. Franklin will be the official ball for the 2024 Myoflex® Pickleball Canada National Championship, with Franklin being the official paddle and ball sponsor of Pickleball Canada.

Over the course of five days, approximately 800 players from across Canada are expected to compete for the coveted title of being a 2024 national champion. Competition categories will include men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and men’s and women’s singles. As a Pickleball Canada sanctioned tournament, current international rules will be in effect.
