The Provincial Team Competition (PTC) is taking place on August 27 at Pickleplex Downsview, bringing together seven provincial teams for a day of friendly competition and an opportunity to showcase some of the top athletes from across the country.
For the first time, Team Newfoundland & Labrador will join the competition, alongside Team B.C. (reigning champions), Team Alberta, Team Ontario, Team Saskatchewan, Team Quebec, and Team Manitoba.
The event will take place as part of the 2026 IG Wealth Management National Championships Presented by HearingLife and marks the second year that the Provincial Team Competition has been held during Pickleball Canada’s National Championships.
Each athlete selected to their respective provincial team holds a DUPR rating of 4.0 or higher, with each team consisting of 16 athletes and at least 4 alternants.
