The 2026 IG Wealth Management National Championships presented by Hearing Life – August 24 to 30, 2026 Hosted by Pickleplex Social Club in the Greater Toronto Area.
Overview
Pickleplex Social Club will serve as the host venue for the 2026 IG Wealth Management National Championships presented by Hearing Life, taking place August 24–30, 2026, at its Downsview and Vaughan locations in the Greater Toronto Area.
The two purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities will provide a high-quality championship environment, supporting national-level competition across 21 indoor pickleball courts over six days. The event will bring together athletes, officials, and spectators for a premier championship experience in one of Canada’s largest and most diverse metropolitan regions.
The championship is expected to welcome players, officials, volunteers, and spectators from across Canada, contributing to the continued growth and connection of the national pickleball community. Competition will include women’s and men’s singles, women’s and men’s doubles, mixed doubles, and Pickleball Canada’s Provincial Team Competition (PTC), which will take place during the week of competition.
In 2026, the PTC will play an expanded role within Pickleball Canada’s athlete pathway, serving as one of the evaluation components for selection into the National Development Program and supporting the identification and development of athletes as Canada builds its international presence.
Registration
A lottery system will be used for general registration – the high level of interest in events requires this step to maintain fairness in the registration process while keeping pace with the increasing demand for entries. Individuals may register for the lottery starting Thursday, April 23 at 8:30 pm ET on the National Championship Registration site.
The lottery will take place on Thursday, April 30, and successful lottery bids will be notified the same day – registration payment will be required by May 3 to secure their spot. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the spot, which will then be offered to individuals on the waitlist. Please note that for doubles events, both partners must complete payment by May 3. If one or both partners fail to do so, the team will forfeit its spot.
Key Registration Details:
- Registration fee: $165, plus $45 per event entered
- Registration closes August 10, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. ET, however, we encourage players to register early as we expect to reach capacity
