On August 27, the Pickleball Canada Provincial Team Competition (PTC) was held at Pickleplex Downsview as part of the 2026 IG Wealth Management National Championship Presented by HearingLife.
The event brought together seven provincial teams from across the country for a day of friendly competition and an opportunity to showcase some of Canada’s top pickleball talent. It also served as a talent evaluation opportunity for the Pickleball Canada National Team/High Performance program.
Athletes competed across five categories: Mixed Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Men’s Singles, and Women’s Singles, delivering a full day of competitive matches and exciting pickleball.
After a day of competition, Team B.C. successfully defended their title, claiming first place for the second consecutive year. Team Ontario finished in second, while Team Quebec secured third place after a strong performance against Team Alberta in the bronze medal matches.
Final Standings:
- Frist place – Team B.C
- Second place – Team Ontario
- Third place – Team Quebec
- Forth place – Team Alberta
- Fifth place – Team Manitoba
- Sixth place – Team Saskatchewan
- Seventh place – Team Newfoundland & Labrador
