Meet Garth from Whistler, British Columbia!
Over the past 3 decades, Garth has faithfully served not-for-profit organizations in each of his home communities, most recently as founding and current President of the Whistler Pickleball Association. In all of his voluntary service he has been primarily focused on democratic governance, strategic planning, positive stakeholder communications and transparency. Specifically to not-for-profit sporting organizations’ governance, Garth has contributed to and developed consensus toward corporate constitutions including the facilitation of Vision and Mission statements. He has authored entire not-for-profit charter bylaws, developed and implemented formal strategic and operational plans and he fully understands, appreciates and embraces his executive fiduciary responsibilities as a not-for-profit director.
Garth brings a common-sensical approach, a big smile and a deep hearty laugh to all the challenges presented to him. Down the middle!
