Meet Bryan from Thunder Bay, Ontario. Bryan started playing pickleball in 2018 and became addicted immediately. He has enjoyed “recreational” tournament play in Northwestern Ontario, Minnesota with his wife and male partners. In 2021 he was founding director in establishing the Lakehead Pickleball Club. That year, he was also elected to the Board of Directors of Pickleball Ontario and became the Vice President. In that role he led the modernization of the Pickleball Ontario bylaws and the enhancement of the PO governance structure. Bryan is committed to contributing to the development of Pickleball Canada as a world class sporting organization. Bryan Merritt hails for Thunder Bay Ontario and is also an avid outdoorsman. He spent 34 years as a senior manager in environmental and natural resource enforcement with the Ontario Government.
