Subject: Notice of March 2025 Special General Meeting (SGM)
In accordance with Pickleball Canada Bylaw 3.6, a Special General Meeting (SGM) of members has been called as follows:
Date: Monday, March 24, 2025
Time: 7:00 pm ET
Location: Via Video Conference
The purpose of the SGM is to consider amendments that will modernize the Pickleball Canada Bylaws related to Board size (i.e. number of Directors) and makeup. The proposed changes are necessary to ensure that Pickleball Canada governance provisions (bylaws and articles of incorporation) and practices are consistent, compliant with governing legislation, and reflect contemporary standards of a national sporting organization. Copies of the Notices of Motion are attached for your review prior to the meeting.
Registration Information:
To attend and be eligible to vote at the SGM, Pickleball Canada members must register in advance. Click here to register for the SGM.
Please note the following when registering:
- Delegates must have an active Pickleball Canada membership at the time of registration.
- The email address provided at the time of registration will be used for electronic voting purposes, and delegates may not share an email address – each delegate must be registered under a unique email address.
- Delegates will receive a confirmation email upon successful completion of their registration, and any questions regarding the registration process can be directed to our staff at info@pickleballcanada.org.
- Registration for the SGM closes on Monday, March 17, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET.
Meeting Information:
Registered members will receive additional information including the Zoom meeting link, attendance and voting instructions, and rules of procedure will be made available after registration has closed.
Translation services will be provided in French and English.

Further information on the electronic voting system will be sent out to all registered individuals.
