Meet Barry Montgomery from BC. Barry was elected to was elected to the Pickleball Canada Board of Directors in May 2022.
Barry resides in Vernon, BC and has been involved in Pickleball since 2013 holding numerous club positions and a recent past director of Pickleball BC. He currently chairs the PCO Ratings Group Committee and was involved in the 2021 completion of the PCO/Pickleball Brackets agreement.
Barry has extensive background in business development with a focus in the areas of franchise, modular (housing), transportation, and communications & marketing. Barry is fully retired, and his recreational interests have long involved flying (floats) coupled with a fishing lodge in northern BC
Barry’s service interests included consecutive terms as a BC School Trustee, decade long involvement with Toastmasters International in numerous leadership and speaking roles, including leadership training for youth and adults. He has held a lifelong interest in clearly defined governance.
