Online Review and Test Feature

Many different review processes and tests have been assembled to challenge participants – challenge their knowledge of the rule of pickleball as well as their knowledge of the various aspects to court side officiating.

1. Player Rules Review

  1. designed for educational purpose
  2. 75 questions drawn randomly from a bank of 100
  3. no limit on number of attempts
  4. no limit on time to complete the test
  5. ability to pause & restart
  6. no record of attempt nor success kept
  7. results emailed to test taker

2. Referee Rules Test

  1. designed to educate and test rules knowledge
  2. 75 questions drawn randomly from a bank of 200
  3. no limit on number of attempts
  4. 60 minute time limit to complete the test
  5. passing grade required for rating and certification
  6. passing grade required annually to maintain certification
  7. results emailed to test taker

3. Best Practices Test

  1. designed to educate and test knowledge of refereeing best practices
  2. 70 questions drawn randomly from a bank of 100
  3. no limit on attempts
  4. 60 minute time limit to complete the test
  5. passing grade required for rating and certification
  6. passing grade required annually to maintain certification
  7. results emailed to test taker

4. Line Judge Test

  1. designed for both line judge participants and referees who officiate games with line judges
  2. 40 questions drawn randomly from a bank of 50
  3. no limit on number of attempts
  4. 20 minute time limit to complete the test
  5. recommended for everyone interested in line judge opportunities
  6. results emailed to test taker

5. Tournament Prep Test

  1. designed as a comprehensive review
  2. 200 questions drawn randomly from a bank of 450
    1. 50  ‘Players’ questions
    2. 90  ‘Referee’ questions
    3. 15  ‘Line Judge’ questions
    4. 45  ‘Best Practices’ questions
