Provincial/Territorial Member Options

Pickleball Canada has designed an automated membership system which provides all users with the maximum flexibility and optional independence.

  • Our goal is to have every individual in Canada that plays pickleball to be a registered supporter of Pickleball Canada whether you are an individual playing at the community level or playing at a tournament level.

We would be happy to discuss the option that best suits your needs. Please contact vicepresident@pickleballcanada.org

Note: It is the policy of Pickleball Canada that all individuals signing up for a Pickleball Canada membership must also be a member of their provincial associations (where available). If there is no provincial association designated, then direct individual membership with Pickleball Canada is available.

All individuals no matter what the source of membership are required to sign the insurance waiver which is sent with the membership confirmation email. This is done via a link back to the Pickleball Canada database and is signed electronically.  This waiver is signed once and is not required for subsequent renewals.[expected January 2019]

The individual membership is NOT active until their waiver acceptance is activated. Click HERE for a copy of the waiver ( A liability waiver is a legal document that a person who participates in an activity may sign to acknowledge the risks involved in his or her participation. By doing so, Pickleball Canada attempts to remove legal liability from the club, Province/Territory Pickleball Associations and Pickleball Canada)

Option One:

Provinces may choose to have their memberships and the Pickleball Canada membership combined. With this option individual user residing in a province that chooses this option,  accepts a plan that incorporates both membership dues. Provinces can set their dues at any time by notifying Pickleball Canada via email. Once set, all dues are collected by Pickleball Canada (through Pay Pal) and distributed back to the Province on a regular basis (usually via electronic transfer). Reports on users can be produced at any time.

Renewal notices are handled by Pickleball Canada directly to the individual.
