EH ! O CANADA GO
2010
THE YEAR OF THE
PODIUM FOR BC
This is an updated and final list of volunteers for this year’s teaching program in BC. If others have efforts in this regard please report them and we will include them in the Newsletter or the thank you page on www.pickleballcanada.org
Each Tournament was an Event with some having roving microphones etc. The format was : four 30 minute sessions with each student grades 2-7 and the fifth day a tournament with 4-7’s. The gold , silver and bronze medals are donated by the association and there is a prize for best cheer. It works every time with either grade schools, middle schools , high schools or adults or seniors. Essentially, this is the level 1 course outline taught in the instructors course and in Rec Centers.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who helped in teaching the children this year on behalf of South Surrey / White Rock / Langley pickleball association as well as pickleballcanada. We could not have done it without their help . Even the phys ed teachers could not have done it without them. We are honoured that so many have donated of their time and given up some of their play time. The Future of pickleball looks bright because of them. Ask them if they had fun.
