The 4th Annual Open Round Robin Tournament held Saturday April 25 was a fun time with many laughs throughout the day. There were about 60 persons in attendance and medals were earned by the following players:

WOMEN'S DIVISION, DRAW 1:
GOLD medal - Inge Scholz
SILVER medal - Deborah Mitchell
BRONZE medal - Jeni Lewandowski.

WOMEN'S DIVISION, DRAW 2:
GOLD medal - Colleen Power
SILVER medal - Dawna den Otter
BRONZE medal - Anne Gilbert

MEN'S DIVISION, DRAW 1:
GOLD medal - Ed Burke
SILVER medal - Dave Wiens and
BRONZE medal - Bill Adamson

MEN'S DIVISION, DRAW 2:
GOLD medal - Doug Power
SILVER medal John Kusch
BRONZE medal - Doug Ross

After dinner and the awards it was announced by Chuck Lefaive that the Pickleball Canada organization is up and running as of 25 April 2009. The www.okpickleball.ca web site has been taken over by www.pickleballcanada.org.

A big thank you to all the players, spectators and volunteers that made this annual tournament the success it was. A special thank you to June Padley our Chef for her outstanding work in having a first class lunch and dinner for us all. June made the meat pie and the desert from scratch. Good news...it is hoped to have the next annual tournament in Penticton, they have 5-6 courts which will allow more entries in this tournament.
